The 2019 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er cru "Clos Saint-Marc" by Domaine Michèle and Patrice Rion comes from a 0.93-hectare vineyard, recognized as the smallest monopole in the village.
Located in front of the estate, this terroir, whose vines are 60 years old on average, is planted on a layer of white and yellow marl.
The nose is marked by its refined fragrance of bigarreau cherry and its pit. The dense and rich attack gives way to a full palate with a silky feel. The finish is persistent and well-balanced, and seductive with its greediness and fine minerality.
