Possibly name for plum trees previously planted in the area, Les Pruliers is located on a moderate slope, though a bit steeper at the top of the vineyard. The soils here are stony brown chalky at the base of the parcel. Dark brown to reddish brown silt and coarse limestone gravel are found on the local substrate from the lower Bathonian pink chalky soils from the Premeaux and white oolite limestones.
Fresh and expressive with spice, earth, violets, dark berries and sauvage. Fresh berry fruit shows great intensity with mineral notes, sleek tannins and a mouth-coating, balanced finish.
