The domaine was founded in the 1950s with holdings of six acres in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis. When the brothers took over, they expanded their holdings and updated the cellar.
The grapes come from a 35-acre plot. This cuvée is a blend of parcels from The Pierres Virants (80% of the blend), En Seuvrey, The Cognées and The Porroux. Wood, earth, purple fruits and animale permeate the nose. Rich, ripe flavors, focused and powerful. Great depth and length with a rustic finish. Firmly structured with a youthful austerity and minerality that carries to the finish.
